Create and edit PDFs in JavaScript

Illustration for creating PDFs with JavaScript

You can build a PDF in the browser. That is useful for invoices, notes, certificates, and any file a user should take away without a server.

A small library draws pages, text, and images, then you trigger a download. Keep the layout simple: one column, clear headings, and enough margin for print.

Editing an existing PDF is a separate step. Load the file, place new text or a stamp, and export again. Always test on a real phone — memory limits show up there first.
